Hi folks!

I’ve proudly been the lead guitarist and lead vocalist of Solid Rock (1988–2008), one of the most popular Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler tribute bands in Europe. In those twenty incredible years — and almost 1,000 shows — I had the privilege of sharing the stage with great friends and outstanding musicians.

After that long and unforgettable journey, I was lucky enough to have several opportunities to perform alongside some of my heroes…

It’s impossible to forget the Rudy Pensa Guitars & Friends concerts… It’s impossible to forget the live tours with “The Maestro” Steve Phillips, the guitar legend from The Notting Hillbillies…It’s impossible to forget the wonderful jazzy sessions with my friend Richard Bennett, the Nashville guitar legend and longtime member of Mark Knopfler’s band…It’s impossible to forget the powerful live jam sessions with Paolo Bonfanti…It’s impossible to forget the amazing live performances with English blues player and folk singer William Topley…

And finally…

It’s impossible to forget the extraordinary concerts with John Illsley, Alan Clark, Phil Palmer, Jack Sonni, Mel Collins, Pick Withers, Danny Cummings, Tommy Mandel and Chris White — all members of my favorite band, the legendary Dire Straits.

And here we are today, with the Dire Straits Legacy tours (formerly Dire Straits Legends), touring since 2013 and playing for thousands of fans around the world, celebrating the timeless music of this legendary band.

And above all…

It’s impossible to forget you — always there, always supporting us, always bringing your love to our shows all over the world.

And now… a new chapter begins…

On October 23, 2025, my new solo album Black Rock City has been released.

This record is something deeply personal.
Written and produced together with Primiano Di Biase, and recorded between Rome, Chicago, and Carrara, Black Rock City is a journey through rock, folk, introspection, friendship, love, time, and freedom.

It’s an album I wrote between tours, between stages and airports, between silence and distortion.
An album where storytelling meets electric energy.
Where guitars breathe, pianos speak, and melodies carry pieces of my life.

Songs like Time & Aristotele explore the relationship between time and the soul.
My Curly Mate celebrates friendship and the bonds that shape us.
The Burning Man speaks about rebirth and inner freedom.
Drifting Away closes the album like a suspended breath — intimate and sincere.

This record represents who I am today — not only as a guitarist, but as a songwriter and storyteller.

After decades of celebrating music I love, this is my own voice. My own road. My own Black Rock City.
